Mrs. Anima Appiah is a B. Pharm graduate since 1976 and is a Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services with
the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, responsible for the Drug information Unit and the Eduction from the Garnet
College for Further Education in London and a Master of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Services & Medicine Control
from the University of Bradford in the UK. She had further training in 'maximizing the skills of the Pharmacy
Pre-registraion tutor' from the school of Health Care Studies, in Leeds in the UK. She is a Fellow of the Ladies
Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (since 1993), executive member of the Ladies Pharmaceutical Association of Ghana
(LAPAG) and member of the Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association.

Mr. F.D Yellu is a B. Pharm graduate since 1974 and is the Director of Pharmaceutical Services of the Ghana Health
Service (Chief Pharmacist) since 1st October, 2001. He also holds a postgraduate certificate in Drugs Management from
the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland and a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Services and
Medicines Control from the University of Bradford in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana
(since 2003) and Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists(since 2002).

Mr. FRANK AMOAKO BOATENG - President of Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana
(Appointed member in accordance with section 3(d) of the Pharmacy Act, 1994)
Mr F.A. Boateng is a B. Pharm graduate since 1978 and is the owner and manager of Fabby Chemists.
He was the Director of Marketing for Phyto-Riker Pharmaceuticals with responsibility for 18 West and Central
African countries and a network of local public and private institutions. He was elected the President of the
Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana in September 2003. He is a fellow of the West Africa Post graduate College of
Pharmacist.
