About Us
The Ghana Pharmacy Council is a statutory regulatory body established by an Act of Parliament, The Pharmacy Act, (Act 489 ) 1994.
The Minister for health has ministerial
responsibility over the Pharmacy Council.
In accordance with Section (4) of the Pharmacy Act 1994, Act 489, members of Council are appointed by the President in consultation with the Council of state and are to hold office for three years after which a new Council is reconstituted.
